Manual QA Analyst

About the Role

We’re looking for a Manual QA Engineer to own the quality of features across our web and mobile products. You’ll work closely with product managers, designers, and developers to validate that what we ship matches the requirements, behaves correctly across real-world logistics workflows, and holds up under the edge cases that come with multi-tenant, integration-driven software. This is a hands-on testing role with strong cross-functional collaboration, you’ll be involved from requirements review through release.

What You’ll Do

• Design, write, and maintain detailed test cases, checklists, and test plans based on product requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Execute manual functional, regression, exploratory, and smoke testing across the web and mobile applications.
• Validate complex business logic specific to logistics: load lifecycles, dispatch flows, document and compliance tracking, expiration states, and status updates.
• Test integrations and data flows, including API responses and EDI-driven status updates (e.g., shipment status, invoicing, and acknowledgments), verifying field-level mapping and data accuracy.
• Verify multi-tenant behavior — confirming correct tenant isolation, role-based access, and cross-tenant visibility where applicable.
• Report clear, reproducible bugs with steps, expected vs. actual results, severity, and supporting evidence (screenshots, logs, payloads).
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce, triage, and verify fixes; retest and confirm resolution before release.
• Participate in requirements and design reviews early, raising edge cases, ambiguities, and gaps before development begins.
• Perform release validation and post-deployment verification across environments.
• Track and communicate testing progress, coverage, and risk to the team.

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of hands-on manual QA experience testing web and/or mobile applications.
• Solid understanding of QA fundamentals: test case design, test planning, bug lifecycle, and testing types (functional, regression, exploratory, smoke, UAT).
• Experience testing across browsers and mobile devices (iOS and Android).
• Comfort reading and writing structured documentation: test cases, bug reports, and requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to think through edge cases in complex, data-heavy workflows.
• Familiarity with issue-tracking and test-management tools (e.g., Jira).
• Basic SQL skills for verifying data directly in the database.
• Clear written and verbal communication in English; able to collaborate across product, design, and engineering.

Nice to Have

• Experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or other TMS/ERP-style platforms.
• Exposure to API testing tools (e.g., Postman) and reading API responses.
• Experience testing multi-tenant SaaS products.
• Understanding of basic API/integration concepts and the ability to inspect requests and payloads.
• Exposure to test automation or interest in growing toward it.
